Uns Foundation Zakat al-Fitr is £4 for each adult and each child of your household.

You must pay £4 for each adult and any childern of your household.

The purpose is to Wipe Away Mistakes, of idle talk or any foul language done while Fasting.

Other Charities are requesting from £5 to £7 plus per person. At Uns Foundation its only £4 per person adult and child of your household, you can also pay on behalf of others too.

“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordained Zakat ul Fitr [Fitrana] to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakat for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer; but it is a mere Sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.” Hadith

We are told from Hadith you give as the quantity of (One saa’ of Food) is the amount that can be scooped up when one puts their hands together and done four times.

One saa’ of Food translates into a monetary value of a staple food such as flour or rice, it is approximately £4. that is given per adult and per child of your household others you wish donate on behalf of.
